This Reindeer egg holder is so fun to make! An exciting and easy Christmas craft project, that kids and adults alike will enjoy making! This Reindeer will make for really cute stocking filler at Christmas!
To make this design you will need:

*Digital Gems Reindeer cut file download.
*An electronic cutting machine to cut out all the pieces out of card. I personally use a Cricut air machine to cut my designs out, but you could use other machines such as a Silhouette cameo or Brother scan n cut machine to make this design.
*Glue to stick it all together, I use a stick it glue pen.
*Card, I use Docrafts solid core card.

Assembly:

Firstly, cut out all the pieces of the Reindeer out of card on your electronic cutting machine. The pieces will cut out as shown below. If your software uses SVG files, the design doesn’t have to be resized, the size the file loads in your cutting software will be the perfect size for the joy eggs. If you are using another file type, dxf for example, you will need to resize the design to cut at 5.2 x 8.4 inches. (The dxf files cannot be saved true to size unfortunately).

Making the front part of the Reindeer is really easy! You simply have to glue and layer the pieces together as shown below. I use a stick it glue pen which is really good as the glue can be placed precisely in place!

Now comes the very slightly tricky part! Creating the base! Some people accidentally stick the base upside down, so make sure you get it the right way around, otherwise your egg won’t fit properly! You will need to bend the base at the perforated lines, and glue the tabs as shown below.

You then need to glue the base onto the back of the Reindeer that you have just put together.

You then need to glue the base to the back piece of the Reindeer.

Now glue the reindeers heads together:

The Reindeer is now complete! Wait for the glue to dry and then slide a joy egg inside!
